BMW has unveiled its new 2015 BMW M6 Coupe, the high-performance variant of the German automaker’s 6-Series Coupe. With a direct-injected 4.4-liter V8 and a pair of twin-scroll turbochargers, the M6 outputs a massive 560hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, available down low from 1,500rpm all the way up to 5,750rpm. Power is sent straight to the rear wheels through BMW’s 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, or for the purists, a proper 6-speed manual. That kind of hardware enables the M6 Coupé to shoot from 0-60mph in an impressive 4.2 seconds.

The new BMW M6 Coupe announce its high-performance credentials before they even turn a wheel thanks to its athletic and dynamic appearance. A front end with new, standard-fitted LED headlights makes its intentions immediately clear – the M‑specific double-bar kidney grille and eye-catching front apron with large air intakes see to that. The powerfully sculpted front wings with hallmark M gills – including integrated side indicators –, the side skirts and the exclusive forged 19-inch M light-alloy wheels only add to this impression.

The sporting looks of the new BMW M6 Coupe is rounded off by a rear apron with integrated diffuser insert, two sets of M-specific twin tailpipes and the M6 logo on the boot lid. Another exclusive M feature is the ultra-lightweight contoured carbon roof of the new BMW M6 Coupe which also helps to lower the cars’ centre of gravity visually.
