Tull Lamp by Tommaso Scaldera for Incipit

Italian designer Tommaso Scaldera realized for Milan-based design brand Incipit the Tull Lamp, a reinterpretation of classical workshop lamp, wherein the light source is protected by a wire netting attached to the metal diffuser. Materials are the same, spinned aluminum for the diffuser and curved steel wire for the cage, but the object is rethought in terms of forms, language and proportions, to be moved from industrial to domestic spaces. The cage that served to protect the light source turns in a graphic detail, characterizing the lamp and influencing shapes.

Incipit launched its first collection during this year’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan.
