Set in a fairytale-like ravescape created by OMA within the Deposito of Milan’s Fondazione Prada, the show brings people together. A simple white hut stands as a symbol of the essential and the genuine, reflected in the uncontrived and straightforward garments.
Connected to this totem is a walkway that gracefully curves downwards, leading to the official walkway. This utopian concept allows the imaginary to propose a new reality, as shared by the brand.
Titled Closer, the SS25 men’s collection by Prada explores the emotional aspect of closeness – the innate human desire for proximity and connection. Being closer also alters perception. From a distance, the pieces may appear simplistic or naive, but up-close, they transform into dynamic and animated creations.
Wired details bring collars and hems to life, as if they possess a vitality of their own. Purposefully creased, patinated, and aged, the garments bear the marks of time, embracing imperfections as a testament to life and authenticity.

Exaggerated proportions, intentionally long or cropped, are instinctively combined – a superhero sweater reimagined in a new context. Bernard Buffet paintings make an appearance, printed like concert t-shirts. Items from diverse origins are juxtaposed in unexpected contrasts, yet with thoughtful spontaneity and careful consideration.
