In a move that elevates the personal audio category to the realm of high jewellery, Bang & Olufsen has unveiled Beo Grace, a set of wireless earbuds that fuse the Danish brand’s legacy of acoustic innovation with the timeless appeal of a sculptural object. More than a mere listening device, Beo Grace is presented as a piece of wearable design intended to be both seen and heard, marking a significant evolution in what an earbud can be.
“Beo Grace is more than a new product, it is a symbol of the century ahead,” says Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär. “Inspired by the elegance of fine jewellery and crafted from our signature aluminium, it distils everything Bang & Olufsen has stood for since 1925: uncompromising sound, enduring craftsmanship, and timeless beauty.” This philosophy is immediately apparent in the earpieces’ form. Each stem is hewn from a single piece of polished aluminium, a deliberate reimagining of the brand’s iconic A8 earphones for a new, wireless generation. The charging case continues this material narrative with a pearl-blasted aluminium finish and a seamless silhouette that feels cool and substantial in the hand.

The commitment to luxury design extends to an optional accessory: a premium leather pouch available in three colours. Crafted to wrap seamlessly around the charging case, the pouch features an elegant shoulder strap and refined clasp, transforming the tech accessory into a style statement. Yet, for all its sculptural intent, Beo Grace is engineered for life on the go, with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance and a compact form designed to slip effortlessly into a pocket.

Where Bang & Olufsen truly asserts its mastery is in the sound performance. Beo Grace is built around a new acoustic architecture featuring a powerful 12mm titanium driver packed into an extremely small form factor. Tuned by the brand’s expert tonmeisters, the earbuds deliver remarkable fidelity and support for Spatial Audio, including Dolby Atmos, for an immersive, speaker-like experience. A significant leap forward is the Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which Bang & Olufsen claims is four times more effective than in its previous earbuds. This is powered by new EarSense technology, which automatically adapts the sound and ANC in real-time by measuring the unique acoustic signature of the wearer’s ear.

The user experience is equally considered. Instead of finicky touch controls, Beo Grace employs satisfying tactile controls embedded within the solid aluminium stem, responding with a crisp, mechanical click. A novel NearTap™ feature allows for volume adjustment with simple taps in front of the ear. Underpinning it all is Bang & Olufsen’s new Amadeus Platform™, an upgradable software foundation that ensures the earbuds will evolve over time. In a bold statement on longevity, the brand has partnered with battery intelligence firm Breathe to integrate a custom battery management system tested to surpass 2,000 charge cycles, far exceeding the industry standard.

With Beo Grace, Bang & Olufsen redefines luxury audio. It is not an incremental update but a holistic statement—a piece of design sculpture that promises outstanding sound performance, intelligent features, and a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in consumer electronics. The Beo Grace earbuds are available from 17 November, with pricing set at €1,200 / $1,500, solidifying their position as a new benchmark for wearable sound.
