Banksy’s Girl with a Pierced Eardrum

BANKSY

English graffiti artist Banksy has unveiled one of his latest work, the Girl with a Pierced Eardrum, appears in his hometown of Bristol, United Kingdom. Painted via Banksy’s trademark stencil approach and the help of a fire extinguisher the new mural, a parody of Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, features a yellow alarm bell as the figure’s iconic piece of jewellery. After Banksy posted the images online, the piece was quickly vandalized with a splash of black paint.
