Nestled within a serene nine-acre working olive grove in the heart of Ibiza, near the tranquil village of Santa Gertrudis, Soho Farmhouse Ibiza emerges as the island’s latest sanctuary for discerning members. This meticulously restored 19th-century farmstead, reimagined by Soho House Design with Sophie Baker Architects, transcends the typical luxury retreat, offering a profound immersion into authentic Balearic architecture and a deeply rooted sense of place, just a short drive from the energy of Ibiza Town.

Embracing the island’s agricultural heritage, the design philosophy honours the traditional Spanish farm style. Whitewashed facades, rustic finca-inspired architecture, terracotta floors, and exposed wooden beams define the aesthetic across the sprawling 2,246 sqm estate. This commitment to local character extends beyond mere aesthetics; it’s a tangible connection to the land, visible in the preserved olive trees and the onsite vegetable patch, El Huerto, supplying the kitchens with hyper-seasonal produce.

The accommodation comprises 14 thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Eight reside within the main Farmhouse, ranging from cosy ground-floor retreats to airy first-floor spaces, while three Terrace Plus rooms offer shaded front porches opposite. Completing the offering are two secluded two-bedroom villas, Villa Blanca and Villa Sol, each boasting private gardens with sunloungers and the option for private chef-led barbecues. Interiors throughout whisper serenity: light linens, jute rugs, and a palette of burgundy, chocolate brown, and deep green echo the surrounding landscape, framed by dark wood windows. Bathrooms feature sun-inspired motifs and elegant Arabescato marble countertops.

At the heart of the property lies a vibrant club space, seamlessly flowing from the welcoming entrance hall with its high, beamed ceilings into the atmospheric Library. Here, a striking ceiling installation crafted from black clay and wood by local artist Natalie Rich-Fernandez sets a unique tone. Sliding doors open to lush gardens where members indulge in outdoor dining featuring local tapas. Adjacent, a horseshoe-shaped bar serves classic cocktails and Ibizan-inspired creations like the Rosé Spritz.

A short stroll leads to the Farmhouse restaurant, championing a seasonal Balearic food menu served amidst the olive groves. Expect dishes like the Cantabria Trio and Formentera langoustine, presented on handmade ceramics by Pedro León. El Huerto also offers enchanting private dining under pergolas.

Wellness is paramount at the Soho Health Club. Beyond the state-of-the-art Technogym-equipped indoor and outdoor gym, Peloton bikes, and free weights area, members discover a holistic haven. The yoga deck perched among pines overlooks the House Pool and olive grove, ideal for sunrise sessions. Inside, find a smoothie bar, Body Brilliant IV drips, manicure stations, and three serene treatment huts offering Cowshed and Omorovicza therapies. Unique to Ibiza is the indulgent Gold Sculpt Ritual. Contrast therapy huts feature infrared saunas and ice baths, while private opson-style baths offer farm views.
The pool deck itself is a design statement, featuring chartreuse and cream striped loungers – a bohemian reinterpretation of the original UK Farmhouse palette – alongside a refreshing poolside bar. Families appreciate the dedicated children’s pool.

Curated by Soho House Chief Art Director Kate Bryan, the property’s art collection is intrinsically linked to Ibiza, featuring over 40 artists born, based, or trained in the Balearics. It’s a diverse tapestry of textile works, ceramics, cyanotype prints, and steel sculptures, including Rich-Fernandez’s library installation and Javier Riera’s captivating outdoor light installation, ‘An Ever Birthing Time, 2025’, projecting geometric forms onto the landscape. The concept store Odeum, curated by United Nomads Group, offers a tightly edited selection of global design and fashion.

Soho Farmhouse Ibiza masterfully achieves its aim: a members club that feels less like an import and more like a natural evolution of the island’s spirit. It’s a sanctuary where authentic Balearic architecture meets thoughtful restoration, holistic wellness, exceptional seasonal cuisine, and a deep respect for local artistry and landscape, creating a uniquely Ibizan retreat for relaxation and reconnection. This is rustic luxury, deeply rooted and effortlessly sophisticated.
