A striking, floor-to-ceiling cube, sheathed in vibrant green acrylic glass, commands the centre stage. This luminous form, a direct echo of the yellow reception area in the original T7, acts as the practice’s nucleus, organizing the surrounding functional spaces. The architects have paid particular attention to the partition wall, crafted from glass fibre reinforced plastic, and the reception counter, sculpted from foamed aluminium. These elements, with their sculptural qualities, are more akin to contemporary artworks than mere architectural features.
To temper the cool, minimalist palette, Batek Architekten introduced warmth through the treatment room doors. Crafted from walnut wood and cathedral glass, these doors offer a subtle interplay of opacity and translucence.
