On the occasion of Art Basel Miami 2019, 1016 Industries has partnered with renowned street artist Alec Monopoly to debut a bespoke piece of rolling art in the form of a one-off spray painted McLaren 720s. Utilizing an exclusive process 1016 Industries pioneered to create a completely new carbon fiber composite, the specially commissioned $415,000 USD McLaren 720s by Monopoly debuted as one of the company’s several art cars showcased in Miami.

The brand-new 1016 Industries McLaren 720s highlights both characters as part of the special art piece. 1016 Industries provided the perfect canvas for Monopoly in the form of a stunning white McLaren completely outfitted in the company’s beautiful carbon fiber bodywork. 1016 Industries made sure that the 715-horsepower McLaren 720s featured the very best with a Race Hood, Front Aero Lip, Lower Front Lip, Side Skirts, Fender Set, Mirror Caps, Rear Wing, and Rear Diffuser among other custom inclusions.

Celebrated for pop culture panoramas that defy conventional artistic tropes, the 1016 Industries McLaren 720s by Alec Monopoly features a mustachioed, top-hatted Monopoly man playfully holding up cash bags on the supercar’s left door in the midst of vibrantly colored money signs. Richie Rich is emblazoned on the right rear of the McLaren mischievously pointing to Monopoly’s own ‘Alec’ signature dripping down the car. The ‘Alec’ signature distinctively adorns the McLaren 720s as flying dollar bills cascade across the sleek exterior.

The vibrantly colored Monopoly McLaren features more than $65,000 USD in specially designed carbon using 1016 Industries’ proprietary compression process. All carbon fiber by 1016 Industries uses an innovative, industry-leading system first explored in exotic supercar concept vehicles. Similar to titanium, 1016 Industries carbon is a specially engineered composite that is stronger and lighter than most conventional carbon fiber. 1016 Industries’ process also allows clients to enjoy a truly one of a kind marbled aesthetic that is completely unique to each part.

After all carbon fiber work was successfully completed by 1016 Industries, Monopoly started work on the McLaren, employing his signature artistic style to showcase some of his most popular iconography via spray paint. The world-famous artist created the 1016 Industries McLaren 720s on the streets of Miami.
