In a harmonious collaboration with University of Technology – TU Delft, SO – IL sought to merge the rich tradition of bobbin lace with cutting-edge technologies. To achieve this, the team delved into the realm of geometric possibilities, utilizing a programmable 3D knitting machine. The resulting fabric, woven with varying ratios, weaves together individual threads that converge and diverge, forming ever-changing patterns.
