Cambridge-based Concepts has teamed up with Nike to release an unexpected silhouette, the Nike Free Trainer 1.0. To celebrate its 20 years, Concepts has taken inspiration from thermal reactive materials, thermal cameras and sports science.
The multicolored upper of the Concepts x Nike Free Trainer 1.0 grabs your attention while the white sole presents a barefoot feel due to its high flexibility. Other features include a tongue that has thermal reactive materials that will change to the thermal camera pattern when heated up, Concepts branding on the exterior tongue and on the back, six flex points that allow your foot to move naturally in any direction, a mesh upper to help with cooling and a heel pull tab. The sneakers come in a specially designed box and are available in men’s sizes from 6-13.
The Concepts x Nike Free Trainer 1.0 will be release on January 16.
