Australian award-winning studio Greg Natale Design has recently led a complete interior makeover of this five bedroom bluestone homestead built in 1880 in the centre of a renowned Australian racing horse stud. The owner wanted to give the home a new lease on life without surrendering the character and personality that its heritage and role at the centre of a working farm. One of the challenges Natale faced was sensitively filling such a large house with sizable furniture pieces that would create comfortable living spaces, all the while satisfying two client aesthetics – one industrial and rustic, the other dressed and glamorous.
The Interior features intimate grey walls trimmed with white woodwork, patterned rugs warming the rooms, equine elements throughout as well as bathrooms that mix farm and fabulous for a sort of industrial glamour.
