Leica Camera has launched the Leica Cine Compact 1, a compact 4K laser mini projector built around a 360° rotation system that eliminates the need for a fixed screen — delivering up to 1,700 lumens of brightness and a 220-inch image from a housing that fits on a shelf.
The Leica Cine Compact 1 mini projector continues a lineage that began in 1926 with the first Leica projector, now reinterpreted through Triple RGB laser technology, a Leica Summicron zoom lens with aspherical elements, and a 0.47″ DMD image chip. The combination produces razor-sharp 4K laser projection with natural colour rendering and consistent brightness — characteristics that have defined Leica’s optical output across every category the brand has entered. Dolby Vision support ensures precise contrast handling and nuanced brightness transitions across the full image range.
What separates this projector from the crowded compact segment is the integrated 360° rotation system, which allows projection onto walls, ceilings, and virtually any surface without repositioning the unit.
