Florida-based firm Marbel has launched on Kickstarter the World’s Lightest Electric Skateboard. The Marbel Board was designed to be lightweight, fast, and easy to use. The entire Marbel electric skateboard weighs just 9.9 lbs and is only 30mm at it’s thickest point. This makes the board incredibly portable and light enough to comfortably carry, even with just one hand.
The Marbel can reach up to 20 MPH uphill. Just one charge can give it 10 real world miles,,and all of the electronics and batteries are completely integrated into the carbon fiber / kevlar deck. When you do need to recharge, it takes only 90 minutes, and is able to plugin to a standard wall outlet.
The Skateboard connects with Marbel Dashboard smartphone ( iOS + Android) App to allow you to fully customize your ride. It gives you three pre-defined ride modes, and gives you full control over top speed and acceleration levels.
Marbel is currently seeking funds for the project on Kickstarter.
