One of the key areas of improvement was the kitchen-living room-dining-garden space, where the family spends most of their time. By adding more light and extending the living area, the outside seamlessly blends with the inside. The clever use of the height difference allowed for the creation of a unique staircase-cross-relaxation area, serving both as storage and additional living space.

The heart of the home, the kitchen, was given special attention. A large kitchen stove was placed as the centerpiece of the open plan area, adding a touch of elegance and functionality.

Upon entering the house, guests are greeted by transparent doors that offer a glimpse into the beautiful garden. The kitchen, connected to the lower level living room, seamlessly flows into the garden, creating a harmonious connection with the outside world. For those seeking privacy, a small breakfast terrace provides a cozy corner to relax.

The basement retains its main function as storage, but with the addition of a small English yard, parents can also enjoy their own sanctuary filled with natural light and ample living space. This thoughtful addition reflects the need for personal time in the midst of a busy family life.

The top floor underwent minimal changes, remaining as a space for 2-3 kids’ bedrooms and a bathroom. The focus of the reconstruction was on maximizing the potential of existing elements. Original glass-concrete panels and banisters were preserved, with a fresh coat of paint. The terazzo was cleaned, and the basement floor was covered with a vibrant pink liquid screed.
