Life Before and After Home Automation

Life Before and After Home Automation

Can you even imagine doing everything manually? Take the kitchen, for example. Imagine that you are using a fireplace to cook, a knife to cut food, and you shall bring water from the well to cook a meal or to do the washing up.

Ok, we won’t move to the extreme. Of course, ovens and running water have become an integral part of our lives. But you shall agree that now, we use many more appliances without which our life would be much more complex.

Electric kettles let us boil water without worrying that one might forget about the kettle and make a fire in the kitchen. Electric shredders, mincers, and other devices facilitate and speed up all kitchen tasks. Lift columns hidden in the kitchen cabinets help you to accommodate all the kitchen devices without any space sacrifices. And automated kitchen racks will help you to arrange the smallest items and will never have to look for them whenever you are going to cook something.

Automating Your Bedroom

What about the bedroom though? A lot of people believe that automation there is limited to a remote control to your lamp. But now, this has changed. What about an automated bed? Yes, one of those adjustable beds? On this new website, you can see what we are talking about.

What about a bed that can be adjusted based on your needs? And moreover, you can adjust it with a single push of a button?

A bed with automatic foot and head adjustment that provides zero gravity and is a wonderful anti-snore device – it is a dream of everybody. And now, you can choose one for yourself to get rid of all troubles with sleeping once and forever.

 Life Before and After Home Automation

Automation of Your Home Office

Now, it is time to move to the room where you spend the majority of your time – your office. Everything shall be arranged in the best way there. Take your office desk, for example. If you are still using a traditional desk, you might have already experienced these things:

  • Constant migraines;
  • Pains in the back and the neck;
  • Stiffness in wrists and fingers;
  • Slow but constant weight gain, and other issues related to a sedentary lifestyle.

The only way to avoid them is to exercise. However, do we have enough time to exercise as frequently as we shall?

If physical exercising is an issue, for one or another reason, you can replace your traditional desk with an automated height-adjustable item. Choosing your automated desk carefully is an important part of correct office automation. The new item shall be affordable and functional. It shall not generate excessive noise. A smooth movement is also one of the requirements for your new office item. The lifting power shall be sufficient to lift all the equipment that you normally use. Finally, make sure the new item fits into the assigned space.

Once the desk is selected and purchased, set it up. While you might find a lot of different instructions on how to do it, the main are the following:

  • The desk height shall be adjusted in a way that in a sitting position, your knees are bent under a 90-degree angle.
  • The hands shall rest freely on the keyboard.
  • The back and neck shall be comfortably supported in their natural positions.
  • And the computer screen shall be located at the level of your eyes.

Finally, it is not sufficient just to buy a desk. You need to use it correctly to get the required effect. “Use correctly” means interchanging sitting with standing regularly. In a standing position, you also shall feel comfortable. Then, you will see how fewer issues you have even if you work the entire day, and how healthier such a way to work is.

Other Automation Ideas

Along with the above-mentioned, there are many more ideas on how to automate your home. One of the most used automation options is a security system. Your home can be equipped with sensors, cameras, and all these devices are connected with a mobile app. They take care of your home and notify you if something happens in your absence.

Another beneficial automation idea is a thermostat. This smart device can be adjusted to keep the temperature inside of your home within a specified range. Or you can set it up to lower the temperature when nobody is inside and raise it when you or other family members are up to come home.

All in all, now, you can automate everything, even light bulbs to make your home more comfortable, safer, and save a lot of energy (it means significant savings on electricity bills, yes). Have a look around, check what is missing for you to feel completely fine at home, and start your new automation project.
