Different Cosmetology Clinic makes its mark in the UAE capital, as KIDZ Studio unveils its second location in Abu Dhabi. This 200 sq.m space rigorously extends the clinic’s established philosophy, fusing a scientific approach to beauty with an uncompromisingly pure minimalist design. Architects Ruben Movsisian, Julia Tsuglenok, Danil Savinsky, and Tatiana Kurochkina have crafted an environment where trust is built through architectural clarity.

The instantly recognizable test tube motif, symbolizing precision and laboratory-grade care, remains the cornerstone of the clinic’s visual language. Inside, the atmosphere is defined by rationality and technological sophistication. White walls, stainless steel, and extensive use of frosted glass dominate, eliminating superfluous detail in favour of rigorous functionality. This creates an ambiance of pristine cleanliness central to the clinic’s identity.

Transparency is the fundamental spatial principle. Glass panels integrated into walls establish subtle visual connectivity between rooms. Silhouettes are perceptible, preserving privacy while fostering an intriguing sense of observation. This effect is dynamically amplified by the lighting design: as lights activate or individuals enter rooms, soft, shifting contours evoke the feeling of a live scientific environment, reinforcing the core brand concept.

The reception area seamlessly connects to adjacent spaces via transparent elements. A semi-matte cabinet maintains visibility of its contents, further emphasizing the overarching theme of openness. A continuous luminous ceiling acts as a unifying spine, drawing the eye deep into the clinic’s plan and culminating dramatically in a stained glass panel within the massage zone.

The layout exemplifies structured efficiency. Two procedure rooms flank each side, positioned near windows. They feature expansive mirrored walls and frosted glass partitions, maximizing perceived space and light. Progressing deeper, the experience shifts within the dedicated massage rooms. Here, dimmed illumination and darker tones cultivate a contrasting sanctuary of calm, designed for profound relaxation and detachment. Technical cabinets and utility areas are entirely clad in matte acrylic, seamlessly extending the design language of refined functionality.

Different in Abu Dhabi is more than an expansion; it’s a reaffirmation. KIDZ Studio successfully translates the clinic’s DNA into a new context, demonstrating how science, beauty, and architecture can coalesce. The result is a serene yet precise environment—a space of innovative care where minimalist design actively fosters trust and well-being through its very structure and material honesty.
