Unveiled at this year’s Eicma in Milan, the new Aero E-Racer motorcycle is the result of almost a year of work between Aero Motorcycles and InMoto, an Italian motorcycle magazine. The Aero E-Racer has been conceived through an intensive partnership with some of the most incredible and enthusiastic craftsmen and Italian companies. First of all Tacita motor, manufacturer of the T-Race, the first electric motorcycle to have participated in a desert rally from which gave birth to this special project.
Based on the Tacita T-Race Diabolika rally motorcycle, the new Aero E-Racer is a sleek compromise between a gas-powered street racer and a commuter-centric electric bike. The motorcycle has a kevlar and carbon fiber body and comes with an electric asynchronous three-phase induction engine that offers 34hp, a 10.6 kWh battery pack, a five-speed gearbox, a 300mm front disc, and 19’’ wheels. The bike has a range of 100 miles for city riding and 75 miles for highways at a speed of 55mph, and the battery charges from 20% to full power in under four hours.
