Automotive designer Antonio Paglia has conceived the Alfa Romeo C18 Concept, a striking futuristic sports car for the Milanese car brand. Since the FCA Group has decided to reach other premium car brands with Alfa Romeo, thanks to a more than a century-old tradition, we saw some stunning design interpretations like the brand-new SUV Stelvio.
But the “dream” of many designers seem to be always the same: realize a sports coupe, a car that should be the crown jewel for a brand like Alfa Romeo, which has in its DNA the raw and pure sportiness. The last, in order of time among the designers who wanted to interpret a future sports coupe based on the Alfa Romeo 8C is the Italian Antonio Paglia.
Called C18, the concept car has a sleek layout featuring an elongated hood and a huge windscreen that extends above the heads of driver and front passenger. The car also providesLED headlights and daytime running lights, including the brand’s classic triangular front grille which also boasts LEDs. Other details of the Paglia’s sport car concept include huge wheels, taillights connected by an eye-catching strip the width of the car and a unique skin across the rear half.
A dedicated racing variant has also been designed and arguably looks even more sensational thanks to the inclusion of flared arches and aggressive aerodynamic elements.
