Tech company Snapchat launches a video-recording sunglasses. Spectacles are sunglasses with an integrated video camera that makes it easy to create Memories. The Spectacles connect directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and transfer Memories, 10 second clips of video, directly into the app in Snapchat’s brand new circular video format. Circular video plays full screen on any device, in any orientation, and captures the human perspective with a 115 degree field of view. The glasses begin to film when the user taps a button on the top left-hand corner of the frame.

A limited number of Spectacles will be available for purchase in the US from autumn, priced at $129.99 USD.
