Tens launches Sunglasses to filter real life like Instagram

Edinburgh-based sunglasses brand Tens has launched on Indiegogo a sunglasses collection that uses sun warmth to enhance our perception of color.

Tens is a sunglasses brand defined by the idea of filtering the things you see through their custom, sense-heightening lens tint. Whilst typical sunglasses block out the light with desaturated, cold colours; Tens work with the warmth of the sun to lend an uplifting tint to the world beyond the lens.

Founded by a trio of Edinburgh-based creatives, taking the application of colour filters in photo & video work and applying to real life, Marty, Kris & Tom discuss We wondered; what if we could skip the cameras and computers altogether? What if there was a way we could filter everything that we see whilst disconnected from technology? The concept of Tens was born.

Early adopters can pre-order the first frame style ‘The Classic‘ via Indiegogo, available in 4 colours (black, navy, deep red & teal) at a launch special price of USD 60 including worldwide delivery. Tens plan to launch additional gender-specific frame styles with their signature lens across Summer 2014.
