Peugeot presented the L500 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo in May 2016. Now, to mark the release of the new exclusive video game Gran Turismo Sport, the French brand is unveiling its new, sleeker, sportier version of the car: the Peugeot L 750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo.
Glued to the road and seemingly at one with it, both models bear the distinctive stylistic features of the Peugeot brand. With its carbon-fiber monocoque structure, the L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo is designed with the rigors of competitive racing in mind. For the driver, this radically new version of the car promises hitherto unknown sensations.
The updated concept features an improved design and performance quality in a 580PS petrol engine with a 170PS electric motor. Also highlighted is an innovative dual-circuit hydraulic braking system, carbon disc brakes, forged-magnesium alloys, front and rear suspension that vary the height of the car according to speed.
Weighing just 825 kg—175 kg lighter than the Peugeot L 500 R HYbrid—it gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. Whichever one you choose, both of these racing machines are perfectly suited to the 17 locations and many tracks available in the Gran Turismo Sport video game.
The new car will be available exclusively in the PlayStation 4 Gran Turismo Sport, with Peugeot even adding an online 24-hours distance race on its Twitter account.
