Susan McLeary, founder of floral design studio Passionflower, has conceived a collection of living jewelry. Using succulents handpick from a small, family-owned greenhouse, Susan crafts intricate accessories. For 2-4 weeks, the plant artist’s whimsical works can be worn before they begin to grow off their bases. At this point, wearers can gently remove the succulents, pot them, and keep them as a keepsake. Once the plant has found its new home, the jewelry base can be worn on its own.
Passionflower living jewelry are on sale on Susan McLeary’s Etsy store.
